Dair - Oak - D

The Gaelic name for the oak tree is Dair (pron. ‘dahr’). Dair is a symbol of strength. Despite the harsh elements, this noble tree grows tall and powerful. Dair is a symbol of endurance in the face of loss and hardship. It embodies the courage of healing. In the ancient lunar calendar Oak represented 13th June – 10th July.
