Iodhadh - Yew - I

  • The Gaelic name for the yew tree is Iodhadh (‘ih-da’) Iodhadh is a symbol of eternity. This tree lives a very long time, through many changes. It fractures to survive yet grows in power and majesty. Iodhadh marks births and important milestones along and beyond life’s journey. In the ancient lunar calendar Yew represented the 1st November – 28th November.
