Huath - Hawthorn - H

  • The Gaelic name for hawthorn is Huath (pron. ‘hoo-ah’) Huath is a symbol of harmony. Huath has both male energy and aspects of a fertile goddess yet finds balance within contradiction. We see the creative dynamic between opposites and embrace what is different. Huath cleanses ahead of new beginnings. In the ancient lunar calendar Hawthorn represented 18th April – 15th May.
