I wanted something really special to gift my partner Gilly for his 40th. We looked at a lot jewellery but even the pieces in the small independent jewellers seemed so mass-produced. Then my male style icon Damien Broderick showcased a ring from Soul Engraver on his socials. Family means so much to both Gilly and me so I suggested getting a ring from the Heritage collection. We chatted with Brian over Instagram about the origins of Gilly's family who were the Scottish Steeles. The entire process was so easy and stress-free. When Gilly received his ring, he was blown away at the beautiful hand strokes atop his lion's head signet ring. I catch him looking at it at least a hundred times a day. The packaging was exquisite with a wax seal in the family crest. I honestly teared up a little seeing how much this future heirloom meant to him. Working with Soul Engraver to create this unique piece was such a special process and I already feel closer to his family knowing I connected him to a part of his heritage. It is absolutely beautiful, I'm going to crash the car some day from looking at it while my hand is on the steering wheel! The whole package was gorgeous, the attention to detail is exquisite. It comes with a wax seal which is such a beautiful touch, I was obsessed with castles and medieval adventures as a child so I got such a kick out of that. It also came with a card with the history of my family name which was so well researched and written. It is a beautiful unique gift that I will cherish forever. I purchased a necklace from the Sacred Trees collection for my wife for our anniversary and she adores it! Soul Engraver made the most precious necklace for me I will treasure forever. My Dad recently passed away and they hand engraved my Dad's handwriting onto the necklace from a special birthday card my Dad gave me. There aren't enough to stars to express how special Brians work is. He created a custom Touch bracelet for me with my childrens fingerprints and when it arrived it honestly brought me to tears. I first contacted Brian to order a necklace as a gift for my mam. It was a sound wave of her mam talking to her, it also has her signature on the back. At the time she was caring for her mam who had dementia. Brian was extremely kind and patient whilst I gathered the recording. When I gave the necklace to my mam she adored and cherished it. I asked for something with particular meaning and he had to make an adaptation to the piece. I was thrilled with my purchase. The manner in which the bespoke piece was wrapped and presented is of amazing quality, a beautiful wooden box, and a delicate card depicting the story behind the chosen sound wave.
